Raising toddlers is a real challenge. However this age is the best time to begin to teach your child good habits with keeping track of their own toys. I wish more manufacturers considered toddlers when designing kids furniture.

Your child's furniture is a major decision. When your baby first came you may not have thought much of toy storage. However, when you have a toddler childrens furniture or toy storage comes up over and over. Stores like Target, Stanley, Cargo or Pottery Barn all leave you out in the cold. For toy storage, they all have the same old features: what goes in all comes out and all over the floor.

Child psychologists suggest that a child will value each toy more if they can “pay” (put it away) to get another toy.

They will also “value” the new toy more once they have “paid” for it with another toy.
