Keep the children in mind with Childrens toy storage units!

All children want to do is RETRIEVE the toys. Childrens toy storage units should help them find toys quickly when they want them. Why can't a childrens toy storage system help them with this?

recalled toy chest

A frustrating thing for a child is to know a toy is somewhere in that big toy chest. But it's probably at the bottom. They are going to have to dig everything out to get to it and probably get into an argument with the parents about putting all those OTHER toys back.

Don't you feel the same way when you have to look for something?

Here is an different way of storing childrens toys. This patented prototype will allow the child to see all the choices before trying to empty the toy storage cabinet. Plus there are some other surprise features!

Companies who design toy storage products have a lot to think about. They focus on the parents... their idea of decor, is it safe, can it hold everything...

But they should spend more time thinking about it from the child's point of view. Children don't want more toys! They want ONE INTERESTING toy, right NOW! They certainly don't want to dig through a chest full, looking for something on the bottom.

Kids just want a toy now

Children really don't want to search for a toy (unless it is part of a game). If they see a toy box full to the brim with "crumby old" toys, then they are SURE the only interesting toy is on the BOTTOM! So everything comes out and all over the room. Not to play with, but just to FIND one interesting toy.

Child psychologists say that tossing aside all the toys on top reinforces in the child the belief that each of these toys in not very valuable. I guess makers of toy chests and toy boxes don't sell toys, so they don't care if the parents have to keep buying more toys to try to keep their child's interest. But this is a self-defeating cycle.

With the toy cabinet shown in the video the child can see all the toys and make a simple conscious decision to choose one toy to play with. The One at a Time feature requires them to put that toy back before choosing another one.

Most families have too many toys in their toy storage box.

Psychologists say that each additional excess toy "devalues" all the others a little bit, until the toys become just "pieces of broken plastic" almost like dirt. In fact, some kids find dirt more interesting than most of the toys in their own toy chest.
