Bombay Kids Furniture Stores don't have the best toy storage ideas.
In looking at Bombay kids furniture stores I was able to find a lot of excellent decor and good solid designs. I didn't find any of the newer functions in furniture. That is, those functions that consider the needs of busy parents. Beds, tables, benches, bookcases, traditional storage, that's about it. Occasionally I would find a bunk bed with a play area underneath, or an easel that your child can also crawl around on. So out of need, I created the prototype shown in this video. To come up with an idea like this, you have to think like a child. Find out the background for parents toys storage in more detail here. This One at a Time feature may be the first "modern" function introduced into childrens furniture in a century.
Keeping the child from creating a mess on the floor tremendously helps the parents as well. But if you think about it, anything that helps the kids will almost certainly help the adults around them. That makes it a win-win situation at its best.
Bombay furniture is an excellent source for outfitting you child's bedroom. Slowly they are beginning to add features that make the furniture more useful to the children and parents. When it comes to toy storage there are five key criteria: - Children only need a few, high quality toys available at one time.
- Children want to SEE where the toys are when they go looking for one.
- When they are done playing with each toy, it should have a specific place or "home" where it belongs.
- Children should never have to face the daunting task of picking up dozens of toys at once.
- A toy in the hand or on the floor that the child is done playing with should still have "value" in exchange for a new toy.
