Amazing toy cabinet makes picking up toys one at a time easy.
Who picks up toys at your house? This amazing toy cabinet avoids the constant battle between the parents and the children. In this video the toy cabinet holds onto the other toys until the child puts one back. So the child is never faced with a huge pile of toys to pick up. Why does toy storage furniture (toy boxes, toy benches, toy chests, toy cabinets, whatever) have to just sit there? Parents can creating a desirable learning environment for their children. The furniture can and should support their effort.
This amazing toy cabinet contribute to keeping your house orderly. What's wrong with having the kids furniture help out? Keep these 5 ideas in mind to avoid the mess and the battle of picking up toys: 1. Store toys in an orderly place, preferably visible with a "home" for each toy. Don't pile toys on top of each other in a box or toy chest. The child starts "looking for gold at the end of the rainbow". Once they start they will probably go all the way to the bottom and throw the rest out on the floor. 2. Make it easy for your child to consciously select each toy. Don't make/force the child search through a pile and discard toys. Each time they toss a toy aside it reinforces that this toy is not worthwhile. Each one might have been interesting, but the child was caught up in the frenzied search. Instead have a limited number of conscious choices for the child and a place to put the toy when they are done with it. 3. Have a reasonable amount of choices. With a whole chest of toys, how could the child be sure they made the best choice? (Ever go to a restaurant with 100 items on the menu? Even if you took the time to read them all you can never be sure you made the best choice!) Child psychologists say that a selection of even 2 or 3 toys is sufficient to give the child all the necessary feelings of choice and being in control. 4. Make sure you have a "home" for each toy. This increases the value of the toy, makes it easier for the child to know where a toy belongs when not in use and makes it easier for the child to find the toy when their interest is aroused. Think about it. When you say "put away the toys", if they don't have a specific "home" this is probably a very confusing assignment. 5. If you (and perhaps your spouse, grandparents, uncles and aunts) insist on having dozens or hundreds of toys, lock most of them in a closet and "rotate" out into the play area a half dozen or so every few days or weeks. These principles will help the child enjoy their toys and play environment more, and will avoid the issues surrounding picking up toys that parents are concerned about. Of course, you might consider an amazing toy cabinet like in the video to help you with some of these principles.
Too many toys in the toy storage box?Does your child have too many toys for the toy storage box? How to reduce the clutter and keep your child happy. The key suggestion is to have relatively few toys available to the children at one time. This gives them a chance to value the toy, rather than being "distracted" by a whole pile of additional toys which just might contain a more interesting toy. They don't like picking up toys just because their parents told them so.
